New vehicles in season 2018

June 2017 – The motorhome brand Carado will present two new series and numerous innovations in their existing portfolio for the season 2018. This means even more wanderlust, flexibility and holiday enjoyment. People who want to get out into the big wide world but still want to feel at home anywhere can realise their dream with a comfortable motorhome for the whole family made by Carado. Just get on, go out there and feel good.

Wide range for enthusiasts

“Being on the road but still taking something along from home – this is the concept of Carado”, says Julian Manz, brand manager. “In our comfortable vehicles it is almost as cosy and elegant as at home.” There are nine different Low Profile layouts, three Coachbuilt models and, brand new, four Camper Vans and two A-Class layouts. In all models the clever room concept and friendly interior design guarantee mobile living comfort.

The compact miracle of space

The smallest member of the Carado Family is called Vlow and is a Camper Van. The four different layouts have an overall length between 541 and 636 centimetres and come either with transversal beds, a bunk bed for up to four people or a queen-size bed. Thanks to the swivelling cab seats the lounging area with half dinette offers enough room for four people. So that nobody has to sit in front of an empty plate, the basics are ensured at all times. Every layout has a kitchen with fridge, two-burner hob and sink. A bathroom with fixed washbasin, toilet and extendable shower tap optimally rounds off the equipment of the compact van. Anyone wanting to adapt the vehicle to his own demands may choose from a wide range of optional extras and various accessory packages.

With Vlow Carado combines driving pleasure with the practical functions of mobile accommodation. “When a day trip spontaneously becomes a weekend trip, when a second car is required of when bulky objects need to be transported, our little one performs brilliantly in every situation,” says Julian Manz.

Great enjoyment of travelling with the new A-Class

The new A-Class from Carado with its overall length of 743 centimetres has completely different dimensions. It embodies generosity in design, freedom of movement from the cab to the rear and a new feeling of space. With single beds or queen-size bed depending on the layout as well as standard pulldown beds there is enough room for up to 5 people. They can fully enjoy the elegant living area with the cab seats easily swivelled to join the inviting lounging area. The ergonomically designed kitchen makes the heart of every enthusiastic hobby cook beat faster. And the modern bathroom with wash basin, numerous storage compartments, toilet and separate shower ensures a feeling of comfort and well-being on every trip. Four different packages and numerous optional extras allow you to adapt the I 447 and I 449 to your own demands and leave nothing to be desired.

News on Low Profile and Coachbuilt models

Even though they are not completely new, the popular Low Profile and Coachbild layouts from Carado offer several innovations in season 2018. It already starts on the exterior with revised graphics and a new Carado emblem on the radiator grill. Inside Carado has redesigned the overhead lockers and also the kitchen which now has white fronts and indirect lighting. Additionally the soft furnishing choices Terra and Arctica show new colours. Especially in terms of technics and functionality the vehicles have been optimized. This includes a new soft-close system for all drawers and overhead lockers, a USB socket in the lounging area, new LED lights on the exterior and in the garage, new CEE socket and fixed pedestals.  As optional extras Carado offers among other a 22“ TV, a new carpet and a second garage door for the layouts A 361 and A 461. However, tried and tested remains: the established Fiat Ducato Chassis with ABS, driver airbag and EBD electronic brake-force as well as the glass-fibre reinforced roof and rear end ensure safety and relaxed driving pleasure on the road.

Leisure vehicles to feel good

If you are on board of a Carado motorhome, you can relax from the very first minute. The living area with its spacious lounging area invites you to a cosy get-together in familiar atmosphere. But what would be the table and seats without a kitchen? In the functional Carado kitchen with plenty of storage space, fridge, hob with cast-iron pan support and black glass lid, sink and spacious work surfaces you can easily prepare the favourite meals of all fellow passengers.
Depending on the model you can enjoy relaxed nights in the comfortable rear bed, the spacious French bed, the elegant queen-size bed or also in the single beds which may be combined to an impressive double bed. Thanks to the convertible lounging area (optional) or the overcab bed fellow passengers are always welcome. Depending on the layout there are further berths available for family members or guests with the pull-down bed, which is optional in the Low Profile layouts but standard in the A Class.

Space to shower and stow away

A real home must not lack a fully-equipped bathroom. In a Carado motorhome it is fully-equipped by wash basin, toilet, shower and numerous shelves. Special feature in several layouts is the Vario bathroom. By swinging the bathroom wall, the spacious bathroom transforms into a convenient shower compartment. “And last but not least, there is plenty of storage space on board”, says Julian Manz. “If you are travelling with the whole family including pets, you need one thing above all: space. In a Carado motorhome, leisure equipment, games, push chairs or camping furniture easily fit into the rear garage. So you do not have to leave anything at home.” Room-high wardrobes with extendible clothes rail allow a clear arrangement of all clothes. Hidden shoe compartments and side flaps provide numerous possibilities to stow away the many small items of daily life.

Attention to detail

In addition to various accessory packages Carado offer numerous sophisticated standard features for their Low Profile and Coachbuilt models, such as a cup-holder in the central console of the cab, the refrigerated glove box for an easy access to refreshments during the journey or the ergonomic cab seats with excellent upholstery. Furthermore there are fly screens on all windows, which are preserving all passengers from annoying flies and mosquito bites. The large overhead lockers offer a lot of space and with their indirect LED lighting system they provide a cosy atmosphere.
