Holiday made in Germany

Our Carado models are built in the unique countryside of Saxony, in a town called Neustadt close to Dresden. Our Carado motorhomes start out life in our production plant Capron, one of the most state-of-the-art production facilities in Europe. The company was founded in 2005 as an offshoot from the Erwin Hymer Group with the objective of producing high-quality yet affordable motorhomes for the entry-level segment.

To meet these targets, the production plant deploys intelligent logistics, efficient work processes and state-of-the-art machinery. However the most important asset is our workers who are well trained and highly motivated to guarantee a carefree holiday experience in each and every Carado motorhome. While its product portfolio once included caravans, Carado now focuses all of its attention on the production of motorhomes and manufactures every single vehicle with the highest level of expertise and professionalism according to the customer’s specific wishes.

More than 40 vehicles leave the 450 metre and 250 metre production lines every day. Besides the actual vehicle production line, our large, light-flooded production halls also include facilities for manufacturing furniture and pre-production of side panels. All the furniture items, side panels and roofs required for the assembly of every Carado motorhome are made at this production plant.

During production, all Carado models pass through several quality control stations to ensure the consistently high standards of our vehicles. Each Carado vehicle is also subject to an EOL test at the end of the production line before it sets out on its long journey to the customer.
